Marriage.....

Marriage is a union between man and woman through legal contract, cultural or religious arrangements. Marriage practices are very diverse across cultures, yet almost every known society has had some form of marriage between a man and a woman. In some societies an individual is limited to being in one such couple at a time (monogamy), while other cultures allow a male to have more than one wife (polygamy) or, less commonly, a female to have more than one husband (polyandry).

12.Levirate marriage (Perkahwinan levirat - adik kahwin dgn janda abang)
13.leisure marriage (Perkahwinan untuk masa lapang dan kesenangan)
14.Morganatic marriage (Perkahwinan morganatik -antara orang bangsawan dengan gundik)

People marry for many reasons, including one or more of the following: legal, social, emotional, economical, spiritual, and religious. Of course, some marry for money, some for sexual needs and some to have off-springs.

There many kind of marriages. Arranged marriage by parents. Love marriages between two lovers. Some say it's better for their family to find the right partner for them. Another school of thought, believes you should fall in love, understand a person you get married and live for ever with the partner. Both marriages have their good and bad points.

Ii is also said marriage and divorce is fated, decided by God. Some marry only one wife and till death do they depart. Other men tend to have more than one wife.

Nowadays, people find it difficult to get a good life partner, not only in terms of financial security but also in possessing good character. You only discover your partners bad attitude after marriage. As more and more people are not getting married.

Some even marry the gender i.e. woman marrying woman (lesbian) and men having men as their partners (gay).

For me marriage is something beautiful and it is important that you manage properly. The managing of a marriage is very delicate. Some marriage does not survive very long. Marriage is like boat...how you manage it and guide t to the destination of happiness. They say don't rock boat....overcome ups and downs...to reach the destination successful.
